In the video i show you how to remove a Starter Clutch & Fly Wheel On A Briggs &
Stratton.
What is a "starter clutch"?
The start clutch goes on one end on the crank shaft, in front of the flywheel.
when you pull the pull cord a socket the locks on the starter clutch turns
the motor over, and when the engine starts, the inside of the starter clutch moves
with out the little shaft thing moving.
What is a "Fly Wheel"
The "Fly Wheel" does two things for the engine, it cools it from over
heating, and it helps make the spark on the spark plug, the "fins" on the flywheel
is for cooling, when the flywheel spins the fins act as a fan and blows air
between the "cooling fins" out side the cylinder. making it cool. How does is
spark created from the flywheel?, i dont exacty know how but there are magnets
on the flywheel that pass by the coil and then something makes a spark, i dont
know sorry lol |
